About Jimmy
A native of Boston, James “Jimmy” Hills, grew up in the very communities in which he has spent a lifetime advocating.
He is a proud graduate of Boston Public School’s Madison Park High School. He honed his community-building skills while attending the University of Massachusetts at Boston and recently graduated from the Non-Profit Management Leadership Certificate Program at the Boston University Questrom School of Business.
Jimmy’s professional experience includes serving his community in various non-profit direct service and leadership positions. He has also served at the federal, state, and local levels of government.
In March of 2020, the day Massachusetts went into lockdown because of COVID-19, Jimmy went live on social media, and was joined by over 50 viewers. At the end of the informative, and engaging conversation, Jimmy’s mother commented and asked “so, this is an every morning coffee hour?”. “I didn’t plan on it, but we’ll be here tomorrow”, Jimmy responded, and almost two years later, the rest is history.
#javawithJimmy continues to inform, support, and mobilize for the improvement of all of our quality of life.
