Our Progress Is At Risk

Today’s guest, Attorney Bobby Constantino shares the impact of the work he oversaw for District Attorney Rachel Rollins and why he’s worried, that the difference the DA can make, is at risk.

Today’s #javaCafe was very informative but scary. All the difference former Suffolk County District Attorney accomplished is at risk. Today’s guest made us aware of his concerns, and we should be concerned.

With leadership from Attorney Rahsaan Hall and today’s guest, Attorney Bobby Constantino, Carlos Henriquez, and others, in 2018, we came together and educated the community about the difference the district attorney can make. We learned a lot, and from what we were able to understand about the office and the Black community’s desire to see real justice reform, many of us believed that Rachel Rollins was the best candidate for District Attorney as an election was in full swing. Rachel Rollins won, and change began. See her introductory memo citing some of the changes HERE.

Bobby Constantino, as the former Chief of Innovation and Strategy, lead the research component of the District Attorney’s Office. Bobby shared his journey as well as proof of the impact of Rachel Rollins’s approach to reforming the office.

Below are the slides shared during his interview that you can watch the entire interview below as well.
