Earlier today, no stranger to us in the #javaCafe as she’s part of the #javaFam, Attorney Tanisha M. Sullivan, affectionately known to us as “Madam President” (Boston Branch of the NAACP), joined us to tell us why she is running for the office of Secretary of State. Along with her record of service, she highlights the functions of the office, how the office can be more proactive in expanding not only voter but candidate information as well as better access to public records.

During today’s conversation, Attorney Sullivan outlines her strong grounding in faith and service, her parents’ history of community service, and how she would expand the impact of the office of the Secretary of State.
